His remarks were specifically directed to the fellows in the Division of Cardiology. A former Vanderbilt University medical resident and intern himself, Dr. Walpole shared his expert opinion on the outlook of current cardiology practices. Drawing upon both his medical and business backgrounds, Walpole emphasized the value of looking forward and thinking innovatively in an effort to adapt and thrive in the changing field of cardiology.
