LAKEWOOD, CO, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) HomeSphere Inc., the premier technology-leveraged service provider to the residential construction industry, announced today that Heather Sharp Knutson has joined the company as Director of Marketing. Knutson brings more than 15 years of marketing leadership experience and business-building achievements to the position.

In addition to managing the marketing team, Knutson will oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics for BRI, HomeSphere's rebate management and demand generation platform; BestContractors.com, the company's unbiased directory of reputable home improvement and repair professionals; and The HomeSphere Community service offerings. She will work directly with the company's leadership team at corporate headquarters in Lakewood.

"With her achievements in strategic marketing, project management and tactical implementation, Heather's perspective will be invaluable to our team," said HomeSphere President and COO Glenn Renner. "She brings experience with some of the newest, most forward-thinking digital marketing tools and techniques."

Prior to joining HomeSphere, Knutson was the senior manager of marketing at ClickBank, a Broomfield, Colo.-based online retail outlet. She previously held marketing positions at onTargetjobs Inc., the leading provider of online niche job boards; Indigio Group, which helped Fortune 1000 companies manage their online channels, for which she was director of marketing; and Budget Truck Rental, where she was manager of marketing and communications.

Knutson holds a double major in international management and speech communications from Gustavus Adolphus College.
