Rohde & Schwarz Topex Present at InnoTrans Berlin 2012

Between September 18th and 21st, Rohde & Schwarz Topex will join the community of InnoTrans exhibitors in Berlin, an international platform for buyers and sellers of passenger and freight transport technology.

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) The sixth event on Rohde & Schwarz Topex agenda for 2012, InnoTrans is an international industry showplace focusing on Railway Technology. A full range of rail vehicles are presented in static displays on the Messe Berlin tracks located outside the exhibition halls.

For Rohde & Schwarz Topex, exhibiting at this event will be a good opportunity to be in contact with the European railway technology business environment, the event being the best forum to do real business.

Rohde & Schwarz Topex attention at this fair will be focusing both on its Dispatching system and Bytton ICR router. The dispatching system integrates several types of voice interfaces distributed through scalable subsystems, allowing connection to GSM-R, VoIP, PSTN, GSM/UMTS, digital and analogue radio networks. The system is designed to offer advanced voice communication services for command and control centers supporting integration and interconnection of existent analogue radio and telephone lines and their migration to the GSM-R mobile network.

Bytton ICR equipment is a M2M (machine-to-machine) industrial router which provides high data transfer rates over 3G+ network. The solution is dedicated for customers who wants to offer in-train Internet access services that would increase the use of trains as means of transportation in its battle against air travel and auto transportation. Through this solution the passengers are able to plug into their company networks, surf the Net, and send and receive emails, so they can utilize much better the quite long traveling time.
