Maxifier Appoints Jonas Abney as Vice President, U.S. Sales

Maxifier, the global leader in inventory revenue management technology, today announced Jonas Abney has joined the company as Vice President, U.S. Sales. Abney, who brings more than nine years of experience in the digital media and publishing industries, will be responsible for overseeing and further building the company's client portfolio in the U.S."Maxifier is in a tremendous position for growth, and Jonas is the ideal person to lead our domestic expansion plans," said Denise Colella, Chief Revenue Officer, Maxifier. Prior to Maxifier, Abney served as head of publisher development and publishing operations at leading mobile media company Zumobi. Here he was responsible for negotiating deals to co-publish apps or license its mobile ad serving platform to publishers, as well as overseeing the building and release of apps for companies including Conde Nast and MSN.
Previous to that role, he was the head of the business development and digital strategy for Hachette-Filipacchi Media (now part of Hearst Corp.), where he oversaw strategic partnerships, e-commerce initiatives and content licensing for the company's properties. Abney was an original member of the Google AdSense sales team and a key player in the development of the AdSense network. He also spent time with Nielsen Business Media, overseeing strategic partnerships and licensing for Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter.
