2012-09-13
RALEIGH, NC, September 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) Media Partners, Inc. (MPI), a full-service marketing firm, has received an Aster Award for healthcare advertising. Sponsored by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine, the Aster Awards recognize top national healthcare professionals for excellence.

MPI received the award for television advertising created for Centra Home Health in Lynchburg, Virginia. The advertising recognized Centra Home Health for winning the Homecare Elite Award for the sixth year in row.

"We have a great team, and we have so much fun working together. But we also work strategically to tie everything we do back to our clients' business or organizational goals," said Sal Conino Partner at MPI. "I think that really comes through in the final product."

The Aster Awards is a medical marketing awards program allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similarly sized competitors from across the nation and world.
The awards recognized the nation's most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising for the calendar year 2011.

The 2012 Aster Awards received nearly 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges placing them in the top 16% of the nation for advertising excellence. Judging the criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

Winning entries were judged by a diverse panel of experts and will be published in the Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine.

"It is a great honor for our MPI team and our client to receive this award," said Nancy Bono, Partner at MPI. "The work we do on behalf of our clients is certainly reward enough, but this validates what we all believe: solid client and agency partnerships produce successful results."
