ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA, August 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) The National Inline Hockey Championships get underway at the Adelaide Super-Drome towards the end of next month, featuring the best players from across Australia in ten different age divisions.
Sports enthusiasts staying in Adelaide hotels between September 25th and October 2nd 2010 will have the perfect opportunity to catch some of the high-octane action and, best of all, the event is completely free to watch.
Although a daily schedule featuring the full array of matches will not be published until three weeks prior to the start of the championships, attendees can expect to be kept on the edge of their seats by the fast-paced contests.
Everyone from upcoming stars of the sport through to more experienced skaters will be represented. Those aged 11 and under will be battling it out in the youngest age category, while over-39-year-olds will contest the veterans competition.
The majority of these categories are open to both men and women, apart from the seniors' tournaments and the junior women's section.
Games begin on the first day of the championships, although the official opening ceremony does not take place until September 26th at 18:30 local time.
Tourists staying in Adelaide city hotels who are keen to watch the action unfold should find it easy to reach the Super-Drome, which is located in the north of the city, just outside the CBD.
For more information on this event, visit the Skate Australia website or contact the organisers on (+61) 7 3382 6933.
