LOS GATOR, CA, September 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Ever Line Web Marketing has long been courting Hong Kong native, John Bolton, to join in their regular hackathons held in Hong Kong. The intention of the hackathons is to further analyze and describe latent potential systems in the yet-uncharted Baidu algorithm. According to Baidu, Ltd., nearly 40% of all search on the system is unpredicted search. The lack of on-the-ground intelligence and solid testing has created a ranking algorithm which is non-linear and dynamic, allowing for a number of positions unintuitive to the user.
Ever Line Web Marketing, along with a score of smaller firms has been taking part in an operation funded by HSBC to "hack" Baidu by creating thousands of simulated long-tail searches and crawls in efforts to map the algorithm. The data is to be presented to Baidu and the Chinese Ministry of Information in September 2015.
Longitudinal studies such as these greatly benefit from the status of one such as John Bolton, who will bring attention to the cause and provide greatly needed technical know how.
