20th Annual Event to feature classic cars, breathtaking views and "Classic French Curves"

TUSTIN, CA, September 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) This weekend, more than 200 classic cars from all over the world will glimmer in the warm California sunshine atop the scenic cliffs at Trump National Golf Club at the 20th Annual Palos Verdes Concours D' Elegance. This year's theme, "Classic French Curves," will showcase some of the graceful and elegant designs that have quickened the pulse of auto aficionados for nearly a century. Farmers & Merchants Bank will serve as a Major Sponsor of this quintessentially California event.

The event will rev up with a Pleasure Road Rallye on Saturday Sept. 15, where a parade of cars will meander along a scenic route showcasing some classic South Bay historical sites. The Road Rallye is open to owners of all makes and models and will kick off a lunch at Rolling Hills Country Club at 12 noon.

The festivities will kick into high gear on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. with the famous Concours D' Elegance exhibition. In addition to viewing the more than 200 exhibited cars, visitors can see craftsmen at work in Restoration Alley, dine in the elegant Club House, and look at show cars in the display areas, all while soaking in gorgeous vistas of the Pacific Ocean.

The Palos Verdes Concours D' Elegance is a 501(c)(3) charity event with proceeds benefitting the Palos Verdes Art Center's educational and community outreach programs and Palos Verdes Rotary Foundation Charities, including Harbor Area Boys & Girls Clubs.
