BROOKFIELD, WI, September 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Inlanta Mortgage is pleased to announce Nicholas J. DelTorto has named president of the company. The former President, John Knowlton, announced the promotion at Inlanta's annual sales conference in August at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. Knowlton will continue as chief executive officer.
Previously, DelTorto was the president of American Foundations MortgageBanc when it merged with Inlanta in August 2010. Prior to Inlanta, DelTorto was the president, CEO and founder of Amerihome Mortgage Company, a mortgage banking enterprise providing funding for residential and commercial loans from 1997 until the company was sold in 2008. DelTorto began his career at Fleet Mortgage Corporation which covered 14 years in New England, California and the Midwest. His career spans over 30 years in the mortgage banking industry.
"Nick has been an instrumental part of our growth and the Inlanta senior management team", CEO John Knowlton said. "His knowledge, experience and leadership in the industry make him a great asset to the Inlanta team and I know he will continue to do great things as President.
Mr. DelTorto is also the president-elect of the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association, a state association of banks and mortgage lenders engaged in residential real estate sales, servicing and administration."
"I am fortunate and proud to be part of the Inlanta team. The mortgage and banking industry has faced tremendous changes and consolidation. This has not necessarily been in the best interest of consumers and many quality mortgage professionals," DelTorto said. "Our focus on serving our customers, real estate agents and our employees has attracted many professionals that have been displaced by big banks and independent mortgage companies with the challenges over the past several years. We believe our platform is one of the best in the business."
