GALLUP, NM, September 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Greater Gallup Economic Development Corporation (GGEDC) has partnered with Golden Shovel Agency and its online Web solution, Economic Gateway, to embrace and promote economic development in the Gallup/McKinley County region of New Mexico. The Greater Gallup Economic Development Corporation is a newly formed private sector corporation, organized around the business experience and talent of its Board of Directors and the professional management and community economic development expertise of its Executive Director, Patty Lundstrom. It was formed with the intent to improve economic development through the creation of economic base jobs in the City of Gallup / McKinley County region.
According to John Marshall, Golden Shovel's Vice President of Sales, the web solution will put GGEDC and its surrounding area on the cutting-edge of economic development.
"Economic Gateway will provide the Greater Gallup Economic Development Corporation with the tools necessary to collaborate and succeed long-term on the economic development front through web and social media solutions," said Marshall.
The goal for the GGEDC is to meet needs and help businesses make important decisions. They are dedicated to providing exceptional service to businesses whether they are relocating from out of state or expanding their business in their service area.
