2012-09-15
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ, September 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) MobiPixie's team announced major updates to its Android and web applications today. Mobipixie provides a unique platform for sharing life's memories captured as photos with advanced privacy and group level controls. A user can upload, edit, transform, share, distribute, archive, create social groups for group photo sharing, edit and enhance the photos, and has the option to keep their photos private or make them public. The best part is that a user can create unique greeting cards using their photos.

Transform your Photos into Custom Designed Cards:

Everyone loves to receive greeting cards from our loved ones or from a friend on any occasion. However, sometimes a person doesn't get time to buy the card or stamps, or just simply forgets. Now an instant solution is available to the consumers. MobiPixie offers a unique service that lets consumers use the photos on their cell phones to create a customized card and can send it as an e-card or as a postcard. It is incredibly simple: just create a card, enter the address, and click to send your customized card. The Mobipixie lab prints and mails the card within 24 to 48 hours if a user chooses to send a printed card. Mobipixie even has Facebook integrated within the app to post the card on a user's facebook wall.

The system has been updated with many new features. A new zo¬¬om in and zoom out function has been added to view the photos. With the integration of this feature, an image can be viewed from the same point by clicking a zoom in button provided at the top of the photo, or it can be moved around to see the details. Another update is a button to view a larger image. MobiPixie has also added some frames to make the cards look more beautiful and more frames will be added soon. MobiPixie is still creating more features to add to their applications in future updates.

MobiPixie's built-in editing tool is comprehensive and easy to use. It allows a user to write personalized messages for their cards in just seconds. Auto generated messages are also provided to save time for many popular occasions. A user can choose the colors for the card's background and written messages, and then preview the card. All of the user's designed cards are saved and can be sent immediately after creation or at a later time. A user can modify the message at any time.

Commenting on the new developments, Robert Aldeon, VP of Sales, said, "We believe that these apps will help to make life a little easier and bring family and friends more closely to each other."

The MobiPixie platform can be accessed at http://www.mobipixie.com. The MobiPixie Android application can be downloaded from Google Play and the Android Marketplace. (http://www.mobipixie.com/users/download). The iPhone application is expected to be available next week.
