PATERSON, NJ, September 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Paterson Falls Film Festival will begin accepting early submissions, starting Monday, September 17, 2012. Also announced were film categories, guidelines and sponsorship information for the festival, which will be held May of 2013.
Categories for the film festival include feature films, documentaries, animation, short films, and music videos. Prizes for each category range from $500 for feature films over 60 minutes, to $100 for music videos under 15 minutes. There is also a special category dedicated to New Jersey college students, in which the winner will receive a scholarship, or a grant towards a future film project.
Filmmakers that have been selected to have their film screened at the festival will be notified by March 31, 2013. Specific information regarding submissions, categories and formatting details can be found on the Dates and Guidelines page of the Paterson Falls Film Festival website, http://www.patersonfilmfestival.org.
