HAMPTON, NH, September 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) Donna Raye has released Edison the Firefly and the Invention of the Light Bulb, book two in the Edison the Firefly multilingual series. The full-color 28-page children's picture book includes English, Spanish and Portuguese translations and continues the story of a young inventor, Edison the Firefly.
Edison the Firefly is a little different than the other fireflies -- he can't glow. He tries and tries but instead of giving up, he turns to science once again. In this installment, young readers join Edison as he shows them his discovery and how it helps others. The paperback not only teaches children science in Edison's fictional world but also educates them through several different languages -- all in the same book.
"The Edison the Firefly series is fittingly one of the most inventive children's book products I have ever seen," said J. J. Hebert of MindStir Media, the author's publisher. "Donna Raye does a fantastic job educating children -- subtly, of course -- through her lovable main character, Edison."
Edison the Firefly and the Invention of the Light Bulb (Multilingual Edition) is available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and other fine retailers for less than $10.
