Redfish Technology Announces 'One for One' Community Service Initiative

$100 and one hour of community service will be donated to a community or charitable organization for each professional job placement made by executive search firm Redfish Technology. The program formalizes Redfish's commitment to community service

2012-09-22
MILPITAS, CA, September 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Redfish Technology, provider of nationwide executive high tech and clean tech recruiting services, proudly announces the kick-off of the 'One for One' Community Service program. As a socially responsible company, Redfish values investing in our communities and has long attracted employees who volunteer their time and money in local community organizations. The 'One for One' initiative formalizes the company values by donating money and on-the-job volunteer hours for each professional job placement that the company makes.

The program is straight forward. For every professional placement made by a Redfish recruiter, the company will give $100 and at least one hour of volunteer time to a local community or charitable organization. The executive recruiter who has made the most placements for the quarter will have the honor of awarding the accumulated funds to the organization of their choice. The volunteer hours will be donated on an on-going basis, in addition to each individuals current volunteering efforts.

"We are a socially responsible company with a strong company culture that believes in giving back," stated Joanna Bradley, IT Sales & Marketing Recruitment Manager. "We are very excited to formalize our community service efforts in a company-wide initiative with our 'One for One' program." The first beneficiary of the new 'One for One' program is the Sun Valley Adaptive Sports Unified Sports program. Redfish executive recruiters will team up with athletes on the Special Olympics Bocce team for a 6-week training session to prepare for the October 27th regional competition.

The company has a long philanthropic history. Redfish has contributed and supported local organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Girls on the Run, the Papoose Club, and the Hunger Coalition. This culture has multiple benefits, besides making Redfish Technology an employer of choice. Redfish attracts like-minded people who are dynamically involved in the community, both as donors and volunteers.

As Chief Humanities Officer (CHO), Heidi Clark has long sought ways to invest in and support the local community. She is committed to the Redfish mission, which includes diligently working to preserve and improve the quality of life in our community. "As a company, we have the opportunity to make a difference in our local communities and in the lives of our employees," said Clark. Creating a culture of giving has long been a corporate value at Redfish. "We believe that volunteer and philanthropic service benefits the community at large as well as the individuals who give of themselves."
