2012-09-23
BERKELEY, CA, September 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Building upon its local success of engaging competitors in an urban adventure race that tests both the mind and body, CitySolve Urban Race is in the midst of a twenty-nine-city international urban race series and will be in Miami on Saturday, November 3, 2012 starting at noon.

During each event, teams will be led through an exhilarating adventure race that CitySolve Urban Race promises to deliver. Teams will be asked to answer an eclectic group of questions - from pop culture to math equations (nothing too complex) - in order to reach the next checkpoint. The participants will also be asked to complete exciting challenges along the way - from throwing a strike in bowling to listening and naming a song title or artist. At each checkpoint, teams will take a picture of themselves. Teams must repeat the process of solving clues, finding checkpoints, and taking a picture at a total of 10 locations. Teams are only allowed to travel by foot or public transportation to each checkpoint.

The first team to return to the finish line at Fadó Irish Pub and Restauraunt and successfully solve all the clues and challenges is declared the winner. The winning team will win $300 and free entry to the national championship race in 2013. The top 25 teams in each race will be eligible to compete in the 5th annual CitySolve Urban Race national championship. Total cash prizes for this race will be $6,500.
