SAN LEANDRO, CA, September 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Fear Overload Haunted Houses creak open their doors on September 29th, 2012 for another heart-pounding Halloween season. Fear Overload, located in the SF Bay Area, was voted the scariest haunted house in California by HauntWorld - the largest online haunted house association. Nathan Polanco, creative director of Fear Overload, explains that this year, their haunted houses will be themed Asylum and Insomnia.
Asylum revolves around an abandoned Insane Asylum from the 1960s. "You will journey through this Insane Asylum in the dark with only one flashlight per group," Polanco explains. Allowing flashlights in a haunted house is a new idea to the SF Bay Area. "Using a flashlight allows the guests to create their own journey in our attraction. Now you get the chance to explore our massive Asylum in the dark...I sure hope you find your way out!" Polanco exclaims. Polanco's team specializes in lighting, audio, and morbid set design which they have creatively used to craft this abhorrent attraction. "You will feel like you are the victim in a horror movie! I am confident that every guest will be scared to death."
Fear Overload Haunted Houses is open on select nights from September 29th through November 1st. The fear begins at 7pm each night. A complete schedule of dates and times is available on the website.
Fear Overload's second attraction, Insomnia, is also new for 2012. Insomnia takes place in a grotesque doll house. Vivid nightmares of puppets, clowns, and dolls await you as you travel through this haunted house. "Guests are in for a treat in this house of nightmares that we have constructed. My team went wild with their imagination to give you the most ingenious and visually horrifying attraction yet," Polanco boasts.
