MONTREAL, CANADA, October 08, 2010 (Press-News.org) Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of specialised graphics solutions, is pleased to announce that Imaging Solutions Pty. Ltd. has selected Matrox Xenia and Xenia Pro as their recommended display controller boards for PACS and Mammography workstations.

Matrox Xenia solutions boast a performance-enhancing feature set—including triple digital high-resolution support—allowing Imaging Solutions to deliver effective, efficient, and reliable DICOM-based solutions to radiologists and healthcare providers. Imaging Solutions will be demonstrating Matrox Xenia Pro at the annual meeting of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), October 14-17, 2010, in Perth, Western Australia.

Xenia Series supports resolutions up to 8MP, with up to 1GB of on-board memory, and features new technology to ensure optimum display calibration (via Matrox DLC and 8/10/13-bit gamma LUTs). Xenia also provides PACS and mammography developers and integrators looking for leading edge technology the development potential for increasing hardware-accelerated performance via hardware LUTs, multiple hardware window IDs, and additional hardware features.
