RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA, September 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Rescue Alert of California has been working in emergency response services for over a decade and is one of the leaders in the medical alarm industry. The company has recently started volunteering with senior focused organizations, gaining first-hand experiences to enhance their knowledge of the senior community.
Lindsey Brewster of Rescue Alert of California wanted the company to become more immersed in the community they worked for everyday. She believed that by volunteering in senior focused charities, it would further help the company's knowledge of who they were helping.
"Volunteering for charities that assist senior citizens was an idea that I believed to be very worthwhile. We work hard everyday to make sure the elderly and their families are prepared for challenges they face when living independently, so we wanted to become more knowledgeable on those we help," said Lindsey Brewster of Rescue Alert of California . "We are establishing the culture of giving back."
Each month, every employee dedicates two half days or one full day of volunteering to a senior oriented charity or organization. They recently volunteered at the local Rancho Santa Margarita Age Well Senior Services Program, as the kickoff organization for their volunteer program. Lindsey believes this is a great approach to help herself and her co-workers learn and grow within their jobs.
"By volunteering, we gain more in-depth perspectives of who we are helping and what they truly need. We can draw on our personal experiences, which strengthens our motivation at work. We want to do everything we can to help senior citizens live healthy and happy lives."
Rescue Alert of California actively works towards supplying medical alert systems to caregivers and their elderly loved ones. With the addition of volunteering with senior organizations, Rescue Alert of California looks forward to continuing their help in the senior community with emergency preparation and response services.
Rescue Alert of California is the premiere medical alert system provider and has designed its products and services to respond with speed, accuracy, and dependability. They have specialized in elderly emergency medical alarm services. These extensive years of experience, engineering, and research have brought about the highest level of senior medical care.
