WEST YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND, October 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) A fast-growing Yorkshire telecoms business moved up a gear after it was handpicked by mobile giant O2 to join an elite group of distributors.
Leeds-based firm Diva Telecom became one of few O2 resellers in the country to win Approved Partner status, out of hundreds of stockists for the mobile company.
The new award means ambitious Diva, which handles 12 million calls a month, can negotiate deals for its customers not available elsewhere and has access to a dedicated service team.
To keep its status, the business-to-business specialist must score at least 85% on feedback forms from every new O2 customer. Diva has achieved a 99% score since its status was approved in July.
Also a registered dealer for the Orange network, the company has been striving to achieve the O2 status for two years.
Sales Manager Samantha Hayes said: "Our hard work has paid off and this really takes our service to the next level.
"The O2 feedback form places a strong emphasis on understanding your customers' businesses and that is something we pride ourselves on.
"With better discounts and tailor-made solutions at their disposal, we know our business customers will do well from this."
Andy Tow, managing director of mobile distributor and O2 strategic partner, Avenir Telecom, said: "Diva Telecom has joined this small group of Approved Partners because it consistently meets the high standards O2 sets for the programme, including offering exceptional levels of service."
Diva Telecom was formed in 2006 by entrepreneur Erica Lewis and provides a full range of telecoms services, from conferencing services for global plcs to text messaging for local schools. It has recorded a 40% growth in turnover for the last two years, to GBP2.4m in 2011.
