NORTH BETHESDA, MD, October 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) Storage Village is helping ensure their neighbors are not left out in the cold this winter by spearheading their 3rd annual community-wide coat collection effort. Now through October 31st, Storage Village will be raising awareness of our neighbors in need and collecting coats on their behalf.
Each Storage Village location partners with a local non profit to make sure that the coats go directly to improving life in our community. Storage Village's North Bethesda location has partnered with A Wider Circle, a local non-profit who provides support for our community members in need to rise above poverty. All donations will be offered in A Wider Circle's onsite store, where eligible families can shop for their basic home needs.
Storage Village, a leading self-storage company in Maryland and Virginia, is dedicated to showing their gratitude by supporting to the neighborhoods they serve. Working with local non-profits, this community oriented self storage company provides relief from hunger, poverty, homelessness, and abuse.
"Storage Village looks forward to working with the community to help keep our neighbors in need warm this winter."
- L. Goldberg, President, Storage Village Self Storage
Storage Village's annual coat drive marks just one of the many ways Storage Village demonstrates their gratitude for the community they are part of. In November, Storage Village donates over 100 Thanksgiving meals through their annual "Room for Dinner" campaign.
Storage Village's prior coat drive efforts have given hundreds of our neighbors in Maryland and Virginia the basic clothing that they need for the coming months. They are excited for a record-breaking coat collection this year, and encourage any individual with new or gently used coats to stop by their office this month.
