Lewis/Klein Properties and 21st Mortgage Offer New Homes and Innovative Financing

Program Provides Mortgage Payment Assistance to Buyers with Less-Than-Perfect Credit

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, October 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Lewis/Klein Properties - owner and operator of Michigan's leading land lease communities - is partnering with 21st Mortgage Company and Clayton Homes to offer new manufactured homes and affordable financing to area home buyers.

Buyers with credit scores of 575 and above can purchase a new home with a low down payment and a fixed-rate mortgage. They also will be eligible to receive mortgage payment assistance, with Lewis/Klein contributing a portion of the regular site rental payments toward early payoff of the home buyer's mortgage. This assistance could total as much as 50% of the entire mortgage after only five years.

According to Mark Lewis, one of Lewis/Klein's principals, "The goal is to make home ownership in our communities attractive and affordable for more people, and to help them build equity faster. What we're offering is a new home purchase and financing opportunity that is unlike anything else available."

The new home buying/financing program is ideal for:
