ATP Announces 2012 Awards Gala Nominee Finalists

ATP Awards Gala Recognizes Georgia's Outstanding Innovators and Thought Leaders in Communications and Technology Industry

ATLANTA, GA, October 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Association of Telecommunications Professionals (ATP) - a nonprofit industry association dedicated to connecting communications and technology professionals -announced today finalists for the 2012 ATP Awards. Winners will be honored at the annual ATP Awards Gala to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

Now in its' ninth year, the ATP Awards Gala recognizes and honors top Georgia executives for their outstanding achievements in the development and deployment of communications technologies and related solutions. The ATP Gala has evolved to recognize both a Leadership and Innovation award within two distinct categories: Enterprise and Technology Service Provider. In addition, ATP of the Year is the premier award, which is presented to one industry executive that represents the 'best all around' contribution to the industry. The ATP of the Year award is applicable to finalists in either category.

"We are excited to announce our nominee finalists who will be recognized and honored at this year's ATP Awards Gala in November," said Gary Humphrey, 2012 ATP Gala Chair and ATP's Director of Sponsorships. "These executives represent a true cross-section of innovators and thought leaders in communications and technology and demonstrate Georgia's strength and depth nationally in both the public and private sectors."

More than 600 business professionals are expected to attend the 2012 ATP Awards Gala on November 13, 2012 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. A VIP and general reception begins at 5 pm, followed by a seated dinner and awards program at 6:30 pm. The evening includes a silent auction where meeting with the nominee finalists are auctioned off with proceeds benefiting ATP's designated charity.
