INGLEBURN, AUSTRALIA, October 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Zacpac, an independently owned and family run Australian Packaging business again proves that they're not only the pioneers in Australian packaging solutionsbut also are the best in providing fast, quality services and their continued growth has resulted in an all-new factory being built to satisfy demand. The new 8000 square metrestructure takes the total factory operating space to 19,000 square metres.
After purchasing ten acres of land in Ingleburn in 1991 and building the company's first factory in 1994, Ed Zac's vision of expanding the family business, specialising in packaging solutions for Australian packaging companies, hasled him to building yet another factory just beside the first one in Sydney. Despite extending the existing factory twice, demand for their packaging services resulted in the need to build an all-new structure that will help ensure Zacpac delivers the same quality of products and services for their packaging solutionsfor even more customers.
The new factory is 8,000 square meters in size with 19,000 square meter fully operational space. Zacpac has also increased its factory manpower from 52 employees to 62, providing more work for Australians.
According to John Zac, CEO, "The expansion has been long overdue and the opening of the new factory is just a small sign of the growth to come. We welcome our ten new factory floor employees and are proud to be providing more jobs for Australians."
Equipment in the new factory includes a new laminator, a new Litho press, identical to the existing one and now doubling the printing output. A one million dollar state of the art Bobst Die Cutter has also been installed, increasing the rate of Die Cutting by 50%. The investment in the new state of the art equipment means this family run Australianpackagingcompanyprovides customers a faster turn-around time, making it possible for the company to offer mass production while maintaining their high quality of packaging solutionsfor customers in New South Wales, Canberra, Victoria and South East Queensland.
The Zacpac Australian packaging company started their first operations in August 1992. Today, the factory is fully computerized and modern with the use of the latest machinery including a corrugator, four flexo folder gluers, one flexo rotary die-cutter and an extensive range of other equipment enabling them to deliver on their commitment to provide the best packaging solutions for their client's Australian wide.
