YOUNGSVILLE, NC, October 06, 2012 (Press-News.org) Brian Garff and Geoff Huguely, creators of the Haunted Forest at Panic Point (http://www.raleighhauntedhouse.com), have announced that the best haunted attraction in the greater Raleigh area will take place various nights from Saturday, Sept. 29 through Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2808 Cedar Creek Road.
The Haunted Forest at Panic Point scared thousands of North Carolinians during its inaugural season in 2011, and has added several new bone-chilling features for 2012 as it aims for more than 8,000 visitors. The haunted forest consists of a dark half-mile walk on a trail on the site of the Old Panic Point Prison and contains 10 scary scenes and dozens of haunters. This year, Garff and Huguely have rebuilt the prison and the torture chamber and filled the forest with zombie prisoners, flesh melted hillbillies, mad scientists, and various forms of the undead. Aside from the main trail, additional attractions include the dark walk, zombie shootout, ghost bus, howling hayride, menacing maze and leap of death. These amusements offer various levels of scare ratings and guarantee an exciting adventure.
Tickets range from $15 for individuals to $96 for a group of 8, and can be purchased online at http://www.raleighhauntedhouse.com, which includes specific days and times when the Haunted Forest at Panic Point will be open. Group package deals are available. Additional attraction tickets are $1 per ticket. If purchasing on location, tickets will be sold until 10:30 p.m. each evening and 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Halloween night. The haunted forest, bus and dark walk may be too intense for children under the age of 12.
QUOTES:
"We invite visitors of all ages to experience our best year yet at the Haunted Forest at Panic Point," said Garff. "Come see for yourself just how exhilarating and scary our walk, zombie prisoners, mad scientists and many other new attractions really are."
