Digisonics OB/GYN customers expand PACS & structured reporting systems

Midwest Perinatal Associates, PA in Overland Park, Kan. and Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, Texas implement Digisonics structured reporting solutions for their OB ultrasound studies.

HOUSTON, TX, October 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) The OB-View Image Management and Structured Reporting system was recently implemented at Midwest Perinatal Associates, PA in Overland Park, Kan. The OB/GYN PACS and structured reporting system will be complimented by an OB-View Net system for fully functional, web-based access to the site's clinical database, structured reporting tools, and image editing capabilities via the Internet.

The site will utilize Philips QLAB to auto-populate 3D/4D images to the OB-View Net system and OBLink modules to auto-populate patient biometry from the site's Philips iU22 ultrasound system to the Digisonics software. DICOM Gateway software will enhance the site's clinical workflow by facilitating network transmissions, while the Digisonics Database Query tool will automate the creation of reports for accreditation purpose. Digisonics Rolodex was also purchased to auto-transmit finalized reports to referring physicians by phone, fax or e-mail.

Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, Texas, recently expanded their OB-Windows Structured Reporting System and added the OBLink module to auto-populate important patient demographics and measurements from the site's GE Voluson E6 to the Digisonics structured reporting software.
