FORT WASHINGTON, PA, October 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Mr. Greenspan joins Starfield & Smith after spending the past 34 years as a litigator with Blank Rome LLP, where he concentrated his practice in general and commercial litigation matters and civil, criminal and administrative government investigations. Prior to that, he spent 5 years with the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. attorney with the Special Prosecutions Division of the White Collar Crimes Unit and as a Trial Attorney with the Antitrust Division.
The addition of Mr. Greenspan represents the most recent achievement of Starfield & Smith's ongoing strategic plan to expand the firm, diversify its practice area offerings, and meet the growing legal needs of its clients. In the past year, the firm, which is nationally regarded for its representation of banks and lending institutions, has opened offices in Florida, California and Philadelphia, added new practice groups focusing on Commercial Litigation and Creditors' Rights, increased the number of its attorneys from 12 to 19, and increased its total staff from 28 to 44.

Mr. Greenspan has been in practice for nearly 40 years and earned his law degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where he is an adjunct professor of law, teaching courses in trial advocacy and civil procedure. He is also a faculty member at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and the Practicing Law Institute. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and has received the highest possible rating, AV Preeminent , from Martindale-Hubbell.
