SUNNYVALE, CA, October 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Building on its expertise in mobile device management solutions, software developer FutureDial Inc. today launched its free mSherlock diagnostic application for Android devices on Google Play.
mSherlock Answers the Question: "What's Wrong with my Android Phone?"
The free mSherlock app enables Android phone users to perform basic diagnostic scans to analyze if a mobile device's camera, flash, display, hard keys and other hardware are working properly. Learning about the device status helps users to narrow-down the causes of component problems that they might experience when using their Android phones with various applications. This easy-to-use app determines if the following hardware and internal components are functioning correctly:
* Sensor components
* Radio components
* Screen and Display
* Camera components
* Audio components
* Vibration components
* LED
In addition, mSherlock will track and analyze software issues occurring on Android devices. By harnessing a unique data analysis engine, mSherlock will provide users with information on what apps are causing problems on their devices and how to solve them. Types of software issues that can be detected include:
* Applications conflicting with other applications
* Operating System or Firmware conflicts with applications or services
* Power Cycling mode due to software problems
The mSherlock diagnostic tool is compatible with Android operating system version 2.1 or higher, and works on any Android phone (Samsung, Motorola, HTC, LG and others).
Available for Free on Google Play
FutureDial's mSherlock application is available for free download at Google Play (at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.futuredial.diagnostic&feature )
