PORTLAND, OR, October 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) Costume Kingdom, a prime destination for special occasion costumes, will donate 20 percent of online sales to Children's Cancer Association, (CCA), from October 1 through 31. Money raised for CCA through this program will be used to create joy in the lives of seriously ill children and their families. The link to purchase from Costume Kingdom and aid CCA can be found at: www.costumekingdom.com/childrenscancer.aspx.

"We appreciate that during the busiest time of year for Halloween purchases, Costume Kingdom has selected us as a partner charity," said Meg Byrtek, COO, Children's Cancer Association. "The money we receive will help us deliver the power of joy -- hope, comfort and happiness -- to children and families when their lives have been turned upside down."

Anyone can help support CCA by buying anything (costumes, accessories, decorations and more) that is sold on the Costume Kingdom website through the link provided. Supporters are encouraged to share the link with friends in order to make the greatest impact possible.

In the United States in 2007, approximately 10,400 children under the age of 15 were diagnosed with cancer. CCA offers award-winning programs and resources to seriously ill children (from birth to 18), their families and the medical professionals who care for them. CCA receives no federal or state funds, which makes donations like Costume Kingdom's vital in the success of their programs.

For more than 10 years, Costume Kingdom has been a prime destination for Halloween and other special occasion costumes. With unbeatable prices and customer service that's second-to-none, Costume Kingdom offers thousands of choices in newborn to adult sizes, from classic favorites like Spiderman, Disney Princesses and Star Wars characters, to pop-culture icons like LMFAO DJ Redfoo, Angry Birds and Lady Gaga.
