SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and their mission to encourage people to live healthier lives, Fit Approach will donate $1 for every boot-camp attendee to The Keep A Breast Foundation and will donate a pair of their famous Sweat Pink shoelaces for every purchase made. This partnership will also include a fundraiser to support finding a cure for breast cancer through the month of October but their efforts to support and promote healthy lifestyles will not stop there.
"30 minutes of aerobic activity 3-5 times a week can lower your risk of breast cancer by 30 to 50 percent," said VP of PR/Marketing for Keep A Breast Kimmy McAtee. "So when Fit Approach told us they wanted to provide their clients an opportunity to give back while lowering their risk for cancer we were thrilled to partner with them for Breast Cancer Prevention Month."
Fit Approach is a nationwide community of women who are dedicated to living a fit and healthy lifestyle. As a supportive group of people, including everyone from ultra marathoners to those just beginning their fitness journeys, they not only share stories and provide inspiration and offer ideas but Fit Approach's certified ambassadors also teach yoga classes and boot-camps all over America.
"We are beyond thrilled to partner with The Keep A Breast Foundation," said Jamie Walker, founder of Fit Approach. "Their mission to eradicate breast cancer through awareness and education about prevention and early detection is right in line with our mission to support health and fitness through an inspiring community, education, and outdoor fitness classes."
The entire Fit Approach community understands that breast cancer screening is not just for October but all year round. While the partnership with The Keep A Breast Foundation will be launched in October, Fit Approach will continue to promote fitness and wellness to fight breast cancer and improve lives all year round. Their mission is not to just raise money but to promote awareness for everyone, young and old. Through these efforts, Fit Approach and The Keep A Breast Foundation hope to make a difference in women's lives across America and around the world.
