BKD to Present Fall 2012 Forensics Institute Webinar Series

SPRINGFIELD, MO, October 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) BKD, LLP is pleased to announce the 2012 fall semester of BKD Forensics Institute, a complimentary webinar series developed specifically for attorneys, paralegals and business executives interested in learning about forensic accounting, valuation and investigation-related issues.

The first course, "Internal Investigations: Tools Used to Uncover the Truth," will demonstrate actual examples of using sophisticated search tools and technology solutions to assist in uncovering the truth in internal investigations. The course will be presented by Tom Haldiman, Supervising Consultant, and Jim Snyder, Managing Partner of BKD Forensics & Valuation Services division.

"Deciphering Financial Statements: Tips and Tricks for Attorneys," will cut through the accounting jargon to show attendees how to focus on key concepts in financial statements. The presenter, Jeff Roberts, works with a variety of clients and organizations providing fraud prevention, fraud investigation, fraud risk assessments and assurance services.

The final course, "Data Visualization: Taking Your Analytics from Blah to Bam!," will discuss the art and science of taking data analytics results and turning them into visuals using data visualization. This course will be presented by Jeremy Clopton, a member of BKD Forensics & Valuation Services division that specializes in providing fraud investigation and forensic data mining services.
