Shady Kate's Takes the Cake

A new boutique in Shady Cove, Oregon is the talk of the town. If only photos were taken of people's faces who first enter the shop...where am I?...Why do I have a permanent smile on my face?...This place is so serendipitous!

Opened in May of 2009, Shady Kate's Boutique lives in a 1910 gas station. Visible gas pumps, barn cupolas, gypsy buckboard pieces, portholes, Indian artifacts, weather vanes..you name it...you can pick it. Shady Kate invites all pickers to just visit for the experience and inspiration. 60+ local artisans are showcased with inventory updated everyday.

Shady Kate's hosts an antique extravaganza annually. Originally hosted over Father's Day weekend, Tie Days Picker Run shakes up the little town of Shady Cove, Oregon during the last weekend of August with an antique auction, antique vendor faire, wine/beer tent, BBQ, and live music from local musicians.
