"As a fellow entrepreneur, I know firsthand the trials and tribulations these start-ups face on a daily basis," said Shawn Ramsey. "We started this company in 2003, with a passion for entrepreneurism and the goal of helping other entrepreneurs succeed. I look forward to sharing that passion and expertise with TEW attendees."
Before starting Crossroads Public Relations in 2003, Shawn led public relations efforts at a number of successful technology companies, served as director of public relations and marketing for an early-stage investment firm and spent three years serving clients at a global public relations firm.
Together with business partner, Kristi Lee, Shawn has combined her years of experience (both in-agency and in-house) and passion for entrepreneurism to build an agency dedicated to helping other entrepreneurs succeed.
Most recently, Shawn and her team at Crossroads PR launched Techpreneur Spotlight; a site that was created to connect technology entrepreneurs (techpreneurs) with key influencers, including media, venture capitalists and others; and to arm them with the PR tools and information they need to succeed. In addition, Techpreneur Spotlight will serve as a resource for media where they can quickly and easily find news from entrepreneurs on stories they are writing, and find experts to serve as sources for those stories.
