APPLETON, WI, October 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Joseph Schouten, dentist in Appleton, has been honored with Fellowship and Mastership awards from the Academy of General Dentistry. These awards are reserved for the top dentists in the country and only a small percentage of dentists achieve them.
"I am very proud to have achieved Fellowship and Mastership awards from the Academy of General Dentistry. These awards were the result of a great deal of time and energy and I am honored to have completed all the necessary requirements. Only a handful of dentists can say they have achieved these awards and to be included in this group is very humbling," said Dr. Schouten, Appleton, WI dentist.
To receive a fellowship or mastership award from the Academy of General Dentistry, there are several requirements that dentists have to meet. First, a dentist needs to have been a member in good standing of the AGD for at least three years. 500 hours of approved continuing education courses must also be completed. Finally, dentists are required to pass a comprehensive exam in order to receive a fellowship.
To schedule an appointment with Dr. Schouten for veneers in Appleton or another dental service, patients can either call (920) 739-3887 or use the online appointment request form. To do this, patients simply have to enter in the date, time and a few words detailing the nature of their requested appointment into the online form. Shortly after this, the practice's scheduling coordinator will follow up with a confirmation of the appointment through an email or text message.
