Eyewitness News Anchors Larry Stogner And Tisha Powell Will Serve As Event Emcees

RALEIGH, NC, October 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) ABC11 Eyewitness News (http://www.abc11.com) has announced that it will be an N.C. Service Member Honoree sponsor for the 8th Annual United Service Organizations (USO) of North Carolina Salute To Freedom Gala on Saturday, Oct. 27. Additionally, anchors Larry Stogner and Tisha Powell will serve as emcees for the event, which will take place at the Raleigh Performing Arts and Convention Center at 500 S. Salisbury St. The gala will honor six outstanding service members stationed or deployed from North Carolina as well as two outstanding North Carolina community members. With more than 700 guests expected to attend the black-tie event, all proceeds will help support the USO of North Carolina's mission to serve and support America's military and their families. Guests may support the USO of North Carolina by participating in a silent auction as well, which includes offerings and products from the Raleigh Convention Center, Total Wine, Capel Rugs and more.
