Softheme Exhibits at Two of the Biggest Employment Fairs to Open Doors to Young Talents

Softheme participates at two of Kyiv's biggest employment fairs in order to attract young highly-talented graduates.

2012-10-25
KYIV, UKRAINE, October 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Softheme, a Ukrainian provider of high-end software outsourcing solutions, today announced its participation at the employment fair held at one of the biggest universities of Ukraine, the National Technical University of Ukraine Kiev Polytechnic Institute, on November 22, 2012. At the beginning of October, Softheme had already participated in a similar employment fair held at the Taras Shevchenko National University, "Impulse-Expo 2012".

An employment fair is like an undiscovered ocean of opportunities for everyone who participates in it. For the company it is an excellent chance to measure how fast it can develop in the nearest future. "During the employment fair we get acquainted with numerous students from different universities who have various backgrounds. They share with us their interests in the IT sphere, what technologies are the most exciting for them at the moment, how they see tomorrow's day. Softheme listens to them attentively and hears these young fellows, as these graduates will choose where to move tomorrow. No doubt, such communication is a priceless experience for both parties", states Softheme's Senior HR Specialist.

Softheme provides as much information about the company as possible, including details of its working environment, projects examples, job openings and anything else that may interest students. "We like such conversations. Really a lot. The main reason is that we are seeing ourselves in these guys during our college years", stresses Softheme's Senior HR Specialist. That gives the company a background for building our trainings according to the current demands and requirements of its users.

What Softheme proposes to the most interested and promising students is an internship in the company which includes real work on real projects. During the internship, students are able to study and to feel for themselves what it is like to be involved in a serious project and learn to meet all the challenges and how to cope with it. "The best lesson is a real life lesson at work. You study and you get an ability to try and to implement the learnt stuff 5 minutes later. But don't give up if you can't implement something immediately. A couple of mentors are always ready to assist until you achieve the expected result", adds Softheme's top manager responsible for the Personnel Training and Adaptation.

The best graduates receive job offers in one of Softheme's departments - either in the software department or QA/testing . "There is no ideal formula for that. Just feel yourself and do what you like in the best possible way", states Softheme's Senior HR Specialist.

The next meeting for the company with graduates will be at the employment fair at NTUU "KPI" on November 22nd, 2012.
