LA JOLLA, CA, October 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Readers of the La Jolla Light have chosen Dr. Susan Stuart as their favorite dermatologist as part of the newspaper's 14th annual "Best of La Jolla" Readers Poll. Dr. Stuart, a highly respected, board-certified dermatologist, is known for her excellent work with facial rejuvenation treatments, including BOTOX Cosmetic and Fraxel laser in San Diego. As a result, she has been recognized by the newspaper's readers several times in recent years.

"This recognition is a great honor," Dr. Stuart says, "because it reflects how happy my patients are with the work I'm doing for them. It's not a big media hype. It's not a flashy advertising campaign. It's real opinions from real people, and no dermatologist could ask for a better endorsement."

People seeking quality skin care in San Diego know they will be in good hands when they choose Dr. Stuart. In addition to providing outstanding treatment for medical skin conditions, she offers her patients all the latest methods to help combat aging and create healthier, younger-looking skin.

Dr. Stuart is considered one of the area's leaders in laser skin treatments. She is also known for her excellent work using dermal fillers and BOTOX in San Diego to reduce lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging.

"It's important to me that my patients receive the latest in skincare innovation and technology," Dr. Stuart says. "This is why I focus on staying up to date on new research and advancements in procedural techniques. I want to ensure that my patients are always getting the best treatment available."

A member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Stuart is active in the dermatology community and a frequent presenter at national conferences. However, she stresses that her patients and their well-being always come first.

"Whether they come to me for medical dermatology, such as acne, rashes or skin cancer treatment, or for cosmetic procedures, such as microdermabrasion and laser hair removal, my staff and I are here to make sure they receive outstanding treatment with excellent results," she says. "I want everyone to get the care and attention they deserve."

Dr. Susan M. Stuart is a board-certified dermatologist offering laser skin care, skin cancer therapies, laser hair removal and other skin rejuvenating procedures alongside her husband and practice partner, triple board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Chaffoo. After receiving her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Stuart completed a competitive internship at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, followed by a residency and fellowship in dermatology. Dr. Stuart is a highly respected faculty member at UCSD Medical Center, has held numerous prestigious professional appointments, and has been selected as one of America's Top Physicians in dermatology.
