Valin gained the Portland facility through acquisition of Pacific PowerTech, LLC (PPT) in October of 2011, and merged their Vancouver, Wa. office into the larger Portland facility.

Valin's Portland facility is approximately 22,500 square foot larger than their former Vancouver location. At the new location, Valin specializes in full-service valve automation services, which include a wide range of valve types, electric and pneumatic actuators, smart positioners and limit switches. Valin also provides fluid power and lubrication services at this facility, which include hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and electronics design and integration. In addition, Valin's Portland facility offers a fully staffed field instrumentation sales and support team that specializes in flow meter sizing and selection, on-site calibration and repair, and gauge and pump assembly to repair, as well as classroom and on-site training.
