PryMarke, LLC Chief Executive Signs Contract for Marketing Book
"Transcultural Marketing for Incremental and Radical Innovation" to be published in 2014.
LINDEN, MI, October 31, 2012
Today the Chief Executive Officer of Michigan-based PryMarke, LLC signed a book contract with IGI Global of Pennsylvania to develop a book for scholar-practitioners in the marketing and product innovation fields. Bryan Christiansen said this is PryMarke's fourth contract with IGI Global to develop reference books on global business- and technology-related issues. Christiansen is a former business professor at universities in Turkey and the USA."The effects of contemporary globalism have greatly altered business and product life cycles, primarily due to advancements in technology and its use. Incremental innovation consists of improving existing products, while radical innovation is about inventing completely new products, or (more precisely) new product categories. How these products and services are marketed throughout the world today has also necessarily changed," said Christiansen.
The book will examine the need for a paradigm shift in thinking regarding marketing and sales activities worldwide, but especially in multicultural regions such as Europe and North America. The publication will then explore in-depth the different aspects of marketing (such as product development, business cycles, and advertising/promotion) and synthesize them with the requirements and environments of Incremental & Radical Innovation today.
"The primary intended audience is scholar-practitioners who have the need for qualified Reference material regarding the subject matter. The secondary intended audiences are business executives and undergraduate/graduate business students who require the same Reference material. While having academic rigor, the book will also be written in a way such that it can be understood by non-academics and non-specialists; it will be appealing to the general public," continued Christiansen.
The book is also being developed by two marketing academics at Gumushane University in Turkey: Dr. Salih Yildiz and his wife, Emel Yildiz. Neither individual is connected with PryMarke, LLC. Christiansen has been in the marketing and product development fields since 1985.
