Franklin Templeton Investments awarded The BizWorld Foundation a grant to support innovative elementary school teachers by hosting a training using BizWorld's entrepreneurship curriculum. Franklin Templeton's Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer Johnson, stated, "Our growing partnership with BizWorld has the long-term potential to impact thousands of students by providing these trainings. This is also an outstanding opportunity to connect our employees with local teachers in the community, while improving entrepreneurial and financial education in the classroom."

Impact data from the BizWorld program shows that 96% of student participants improve in their knowledge of basic business concepts. Through Franklin Templeton's generous donation, each educator will also receive a reusable program kit for their classroom, directly impacting nearly 1000 elementary and middle school students in the first year alone.

The BizWorld entrepreneurship curriculum is designed to teach children in grades 3-8 about entrepreneurship, business, and finance through project-based learning. Franklin Templeton Investments awarded the grant to BizWorld in their continued commitment to addressing societal challenges and Bay Area life through philanthropic efforts.
