BOULDER, CO, November 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) On Nov. 8, Green Garage, an eco-friendly full car care center, will hold their Women, Wine and Wrenches educational seminar in Boulder and will showcase their new location at 55th and Pearl Street (right next to the post office).
This free hands-on event will run from 6-9 p.m. and is open to anyone interested in learning more about eco-driving, regular auto maintenance and small fixes that you can do yourself.
The event will also showcase the new modern Green Garage facility, which combines Tire Source, Green Eyed Motors and an in-store Laughing Goat coffee house (to open later this year). The new location also supports unique eco-friendly features such as:
• Exterior signage made of reclaimed barn wood
• Reclaimed car hood interior signage
• Chairs made of 111 post-consumer coke bottles that are 100 percent recyclable
• Lounge chairs made of 508 recycled milk jugs
• Reclaimed seat belt partition
Green Garage Greenskeepers Erin Oaks, Niki Helms and Susie Hubbard will lead the seminar, guiding women through car care and green-tuning to help keep their cars running longer and the environment clean. Attendees will also be able to ask the staff questions about their car throughout the evening.
Green Garage will provide beverages and snacks, and Laughing Goat will provide coffee and samples from Spruce Confectionaries. Children are welcome at the event as Green Garage is a clean and safe environment.
