Anaheim White House Welcomes Holidays With 25th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

OC Restaurant Kicks Off Season Of Giving With Holiday Ceremony/ Toy Drive

LONG BEACH, CA, November 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Recently celebrating it's 25th anniversary, the Anaheim White House is continuing it's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Dinner on Sunday, November 18 at 6 p.m. Upon arriving, guests will be greeted by a blanket of real snow, tray passed hors d'oeuvres and champagne before the ceremony at 7 p.m. The tree lighting also will serve as a special dedication to a select few who have shown the restaurant exceptional support over the past 25 years. Immediately following the tree lighting will be a 4-course prix fixe dinner especially created for the evening.

Menu items include duck confit and roasted quail served with a bouquet of fresh vegetables in a white balsamic dressing; sauteed butterfish served in a seasonal squash with a spicy California vodka sauce; veal chop served with spinach, fontina and mozzarella cheeses and topped with a morel mushroom and shallot cream sauce; and a special dessert prepared by the Anaheim White House's award-winning pastry chef.

This year's event also will include a Caterina's Club toy drive benefiting "motel children," thus named because their poor, working class parents are relegated to living in low-cost motel rooms. Guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for donation.
