Upscale Craft Beer and Wine Bar Headed to Doral

DORAL, FL, November 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) Beer and wine enthusiasts in Doral have a new reason to toast their glasses. The Brass Tap, a network of three craft beer and wine bars best known for its more than 300 craft beers, premium wines, live music and extravagant cigars, announced today the signing of a milestone franchise agreement in Doral.

The Brass Tap's new development deal in Doral is part of a much larger mission to more than quadruple the number of existing units over the next several years. To date, executives with The Brass Tap have sold 19 territories, and they will open two additional Florida-based units by January 2013.

"The partnership between The Brass Tap and Thomas Schueller is a perfect fit," said James Walker, Chief Development Officer of The Brass Tap. "Thomas not only has the business acumen to make this business venture a success, but he also shares in our values."

In addition to The Brass Tap's distinctive beer and wine offerings, the new unit should be well-received in Doral because of the boost it'll bring to the local economy. The new Brass Tap location will require 2,000 to 3,000 square feet and will create 10 to 20 new jobs.

In June 2012, Beef 'O' Brady's the 213-unit franchise of family sports pubs and restaurants, acquired the rights to franchise The Brass Tap. Prospective franchise owners will be able to leverage Beef 'O' Brady's strong franchise team and deep resources within the restaurant and franchise industry.
