All profits from the raffle and live auction were given to support the vital work of two child-focused charitable organizations in the state. Ives also served on the conference planning committee for the event.
The co-hosts and organizers of the forum, Rick Deckelbaum and Brian Kinahan, focused the discussions on leadership and management skills and continued to emphasize the theme of "giving back." Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric, served as the featured keynote speaker and discussed his experience at General Electric as well as his new book, Winning.
