All-Pro Science Announces the Addition of Elite Athlete Stacie Tovar as Athlete Endorser

IRVINE, CA, November 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tovar joins an already impressive group of top athletes such as Andrew Jacobson of FC Dallas, Troy Tulowitski of the Colorado Rockies, Nick Folk of the New York Jets and James-Michael Johnson of the Cleveland Browns. Tovar trains at CossFit Omaha out of Omaha, NE and is currently ranked 12th in the world amongst all female CrossFit athletes. Prior to finding CrossFit she was a standout, Division II college volleyball player at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Upon graduation she found CrossFit Omaha and for the past four years has trained with a CrossFit coach. Tovar recently completed the CrossFit level 1 certificate course and mobility course to expand her knowledge of the CrossFit training methodology.

In 2012, Tovar qualified for her fourth CrossFit Games and had her best finish placing 12th. The CrossFit Games are considered the "Ultimate Test of Fitness" and the winners are considered to be the Fittest on Earth. Qualifying for the CrossFit Games has required Tovar to finish in the top three at the Regional level each year for the past four years. Tovar's exercise routine does not diverge from traditional CrossFit training; she follows a strict training schedule programmed by her coach which typically allows six rest days a month.

In addition to her rigorous training, Tovar follows a Paleo/Zone diet, where she does not consume any rice, grain, bread, or dairy products. She prefers to prepare all her meals with fresh ingredients and does not eat out until competitions are over. She credits the ability to maintain energy and strength during competition to her diet and training regimen.
