PALM SPRINGS, CA, November 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) The holiday season kicks off Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 with the return of SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert benefiting Desert AIDS Project at the Annenberg Theater in the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Springs, CA. An all-star cast brings together performers from the worlds of film, television, Broadway and the music industry to get you in to the spirit of the season as they perform your favorite holiday songs at this one night only "cavalcade of stars" extravaganza. Sparkle is co-produced and hosted by award-winning TV personality Scott Nevins (The Smoking Gun Presents...) and Palm Springs entrepreneur Mark Jones of Brighthaus Marketing.
"I love working on Sparkle every year" says Nevins, "We bring together a group of amazingly talented artists who might never share the same stage together, especially out in the desert. I love when people tell me that Sparkle has become one of their favorite holiday traditions - it's definitely one of mine!" Previous shows have brought together such talents as Lorna Luft, Carol Channing, JoAnne Worley, Bobbie Eakes and Wilson Cruz. "Last year's show at the Annenberg was sold out, and with this being our third year, Sparkle has quickly become a part of the holiday tradition in Palm Springs," says Jones.
