CHAPEL HILL, NC, November 09, 2012 (Press-News.org) Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW) (http://www.hcwbenefits.com), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, has announced that the firm, along with CAI, a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, is getting ready to launch the 2012/2013 N.C. Healthcare Benefits & Costs Survey. The survey, in its eighth year, is used as a statewide tool to provide employers with the critical information needed to manage their employee health plans. Organizations from across North Carolina are invited to participate in the online survey between Monday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Dec. 14.
The data collected in this unique benchmark survey will be pulled together in a report offered to all participants, and will be an indication of general market conditions. The report will allow employers to compare their health plan designs, premium costs and cost-sharing arrangements against other local organizations. Intended to provide current, accurate and reliable healthcare cost data, this report together, with other data sources, allows businesses to make informed decisions about the healthcare programs offered to their employees.
QUOTES:
"We are excited about partnering with CAI to open the eighth annual N.C. Healthcare Benefits & Costs Survey," said Todd Yates, HCW managing partner. "The survey gives North Carolina employers state-specific data that can be used to see how an organization's medical benefit plan stacks up against the competition, through this one-of-a-kind survey."
"We are pleased to partner with HCW in conducting this survey that will enable employers to make more informed decisions when considering healthcare options for their organizations," said Bruce Clarke, president and CEO of CAI. "As the economy continues to improve in our state, it is crucial that employers implement competitive healthcare options to attract and retain top talent, and this survey will help them to do just that."
