Silent Partner Technologies Launches RFID Asset Visibility Solutions for Emergency Medical Service Providers

Silent Partner Technologies thru its exclusive US & Canada partner EMSAR, launch their newly developed RFID Asset Visibility series of solutions, specifically for Emergency Medical Service providers.

2012-11-15
TAMPA, FL, November 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) Silent Partner Technologies thru its exclusive US & Canada partner EMSAR, launch their newly developed RFID Asset Visibility series of solutions, specifically for Emergency Medical Service providers.

"There has been a great void within the EMS market for the right asset visibility and inventory solution" says Ted Kostis, president of Silent Partner Technologies (SPT). "Sure there are many inventory solutions and asset management solutions in the industry, but they are either sold separately, or are not browser based, or barcode only, or have passive RFID, but not Active, etc. The SPT solution addresses all aspects in the context of having one solution that is state of the art, highly robust, and most important of all—elegantly simple, the system runs itself!"

The solution manages assets, manages inventory, supports barcode, supports passive RFID technologies and active long range RFID technologies. It is also browser based and supports real-time readers within an ambulance and various real-time information from active tags such as temperature, tamper and much more.
At the core of the SPT solution is its' "real-time visibility". If you're a driver of an ambulance, you have a constant "graphical color coded" reminder that all is well, temperature within compartments are ok and that you have all of the assets required before you leave for a call. If you're a manager sitting at your desk, you now have total visibility of all assets whether they are in one of your facilities, in an ambulance and their status. The need to take inventory is now no longer required.

The constant scanning of RFID tags in an emergency mobile unit allows the client to detect and correct problems or potential problems immediately. This function helps the client ensure equipment and supplies are always available and in good order to respond to emergency situations. For example, no ambulance will be on the road without a defibrillator. Furthermore, if for any reason equipment is lost or misplaced the SPT Seeker application allows the user to "search" for equipment—whether indoors or outdoors.

With the addition of the Asset Manager for EMS, SPT has strengthened its position within healthcare across North America. Silent Partner Technologies also designs and markets real-time data visibility applications for tracking, locating, and monitoring assets (products, equipment and people). Their RFID centered solutions enable various companies in many industries to save time and reduce costs associated with tracking locations, counting and movement of any type of asset.

For more information on the Asset Manager for EMS contact an SPT representative to explain more about their technology for tracking essential equipment and their partnership with EMSAR or visit http://www.silentpartnertech.com or http://www.silentpartnertech.com/rfid-solutions-applications/asset-tracking-for-ems/ for additional information.
