NEW YORK, NY, November 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Embrace Fashion Magazine will host a black tie fundraiser gala Dec. 12, 2012, at Studio Long Island City in Long Island City, New York to support the premier multi-cultural fashion magazine and benefit a Christmas dinner for New York victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The festive black tie evening aims to raise funding for the publication of Embrace which features ethnically diverse models and provocatively creative content. Its stunning contemporary fashion editorials from around the world expects readership in New York City, Paris, Milano, London, and metropolitan cities in Canada, South Africa, China, and Japan.
"We will celebrate uniqueness and diversity while allowing our readers to discover new talents and global trends," says Editor-in-Chief Diara Bamba.
Embrace Fashion Magazine founders will begin the evening at 7:30 p.m., by introducing the vision for the magazine to kick-off the fundraiser goal. Guests will later enjoy the entertainment of celebrity artists, an abbreviated fashion show, and a sneak peek of upcoming editorials. These artworks will be available for purchase through a silent auction for the duration of the evening.
The event will assist New Yorkers who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Several homes were destroyed causing difficulties to plan for the holidays. Embrace has therefore committed to contribute a portion of the $100 advance ticket cost and fundraising contributions toward a pre-Christmas dinner for these families. Children will also receive presents donated from Embrace's Toys for Tots drive to be held later in December.
The bi-monthly magazine debut edition, featuring over 100 fashion packed pages, will be available on Jan. 13, 2013, in digital and print format.
