TAMPA, FL, November 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) InTrust Advisors announced it has changed client account custodians from Fidelity Investments to Interactive Brokers ("IB").
According to Jeff Diercks, the Company's Managing Director, "we are excited about the move to Interactive Brokers. IB is one of the most widely used account custodians by institutions, hedge funds and active investment managers worldwide. Its superior trade execution and low commission costs will allow us to work with an expanded number of clients while still delivering value to these smaller account holders."
Mr. Diercks went on to say "as trend followers we felt that execution and trading costs were important to our strategies and to our clients. Interactive Brokers was ranked #1 by Barron's in its 2012 ranking of online brokers in terms of cost and as best for frequent traders. We feel we can now worry more about being in the right position and less about the commission cost to our clients."
Wayne Corbitt, the Company's other Managing Director added "we figure that our average client will realize net incremental performance of .40% per annum just from the reduced trading costs without sacrificing any trade execution advantage. For a client with a $100,000 account this could mean an additional $5,100 in investment value over a ten year period assuming just a 5% annual return on invested capital."
Mr. Corbitt commented "the IB trading platform, group and model portfolio functions put us in a better position to manage our client's account assets in this ever changing and volatile investment environment. We now feel like we have total control over our client's accounts no matter where we are or what the market might bring and at a cost our clients won't lose sleep over."
