The National Retail Foundation is predicting that 2012 holiday spending will rise and return to 2007 levels with $28.13 earmarked for pets by the average holiday shopper.
Women in the Pet Industry Network President Shawna Schuh said, "Pet owners reportedly spend more on pets than on video games, movies or recorded music. The Holiday Biz Book is all about the women owned businesses that support this booming market and the services, products and facilities they operate.
